We created a generative tool to prototype how the brand identity can mimic the aerodynamic properties of the car and produced design visualisations to show how the concept can be applied to the F1 car liveries.
A premium trackside experience for a champion Formula 1 team
Moving Brands partnered with Mercedes AMG F1 — one of the ‘big three’ teams that dominates the sport — on brand architecture, spatial and experience design, and sponsorship strategies.
We created a generative tool to prototype how the brand identity can mimic the aerodynamic properties of the car and produced design visualisations to show how the concept can be applied to the F1 car liveries.
We then worked closely with their internal design team to concept, prototype and support the build of an in-pit lane garage experience for VIPs which toured the world during the 2014 F1 season.
It proved a hugely successful year for Mercedes, who won the Constructors’ Championship, with drivers Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg taking first and second in the Drivers’ Championship – marking the start of a lengthy period of domination for the team.
